Because it cuts itself.

It's my birthday. My co-workers surprised me with a little cake, a balloon and a card. It's not the to-do we've had in the past, but it was a lot more than I expected. Dinner sans child tonight, so that should be nice. Then visiting my parents and M this weekend. Plus we get a three-day weekend. That rocks.
