Keep the change...

My husband told me this morning that he had left my car unlocked last night, and apparently someone took that opportunity to go through it. Of course, we don't keep anything of any value in our cars - although there was a bunch of stuff in the trunk that was bound for Goodwill. The person who was looking for something to steal out of my car seemingly couldn't find the trunk release, though. So, they gained a handful of change, and my husband learned a valuable lesson. I could have woken up this morning with no car.
