The last thing I wanted to see this morning before I've had any coffee...or the last thing I would have wanted to see today, period, really...was two squirrels, um - how do I put this...making more squirrels. Getting it on (cue Barry White playing softly in the background...). Just out in the open for the world to see. Silly me - at first I thought they might have been playing, and stopped to watch the cute tree-rat frolicking. But then it turned all PG-13 on me and I had to avert my eyes. I swear, dozens of trees available and they have to go and get frisky on the railing. How totally scandalous...squirrels have no shame! At least it wasn't manatees, though (or dugongs, even...'cause that would be silly). I guess I can be grateful for small favors...

JIBJAB'S NEWS: What we call the news
This just in: The state of news is a joke!
Ha! The state of CNN "news" is also a joke, to the spoint of self-parody, it seems. And I love that Barbara Walters was quoted as saying she was above interviewing Paris, now that she's out of jail. She had no problem doing it when the fool was in jail. So yeah...Barbara Walters sooo has high standards as a "journalist".
(By the by, Paris...don't act contrite in one breath and then reveal that you're still a spoiled, priveledged little skeeze in the next...oh, and diaf, plzkthx! And is it just me, or is she starting to transform herself into a living incarnation of Wall-Eye Barbie(R)?)
The person who works down the hall keeps asking for clues to finding my blog. It's like a game of "Where on the internet is Maus's blog". And my new boss keeps pondering aloud "Does it rain like this every day?". Every day. And every day we look at him and shrug. It's an endless cycle!
